Part-Time Optical Assistant Position

 
25.5 hours per week.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9.00am-5.30pm

Saturday 9.00am-12.00pm

About The Role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic part-time Optical Assistant to join our team. While previous experience in optics would be a bonus, it’s not essential. We'll provide on the job training, and you will be supported by our team of optical dispensers and optometrists. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and has an eye for style.

Things you will be required to do to fulfil this role.

– Greet and assist customers.

– Manage an appointment schedule.

– Assisting customers with frame selections and style advice.

– Lens selections with support from qualified optical dispensers.

– Provide advice and recommendations to ensure the customer is getting what they need.

– Ensure an outstanding shopping experience.

– Support the team with stock management, merchandising, and general store duties

– Process transactions and help with admin tasks.

– Keeping the store clean, neat and tidy.

What We’re Looking For:

– Availability to work 25.5 hours per week, including Saturday mornings.

– Sales or customer service experience.

– A passion for fashion, eyewear, and great customer service.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– A friendly and professional attitude.

– Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
